but when wasnt it cool when wasnt it in

when people forgot about there true origins

when people thought red white and blue

and being red black and green wasnt cool

when it went commercial and the things that were seen

and how we were blind sided by an american dream

the vision showed about people so great

people so strong from complextion to hair

the dedication and motivation we are people who care

we taught the world h to dance gave them music and all

we gave doctors medicine and real players of basketball

we gve the world style think about it for awhile
